Serenity Construction – All Level Carpentry Positions

Carpentry Lead, Foreman and Apprentice Level Positions Available

Park City based residential and commercial construction company looking for all levels of carpentry and construction experience to fill carpentry foreman, lead and carpenter apprentice positions.Other areas of expertise are welcomed. Willing to train the right individuals. Pay rate dependent upon experience. Must have own basic hand tools and reliable transportation to and from Park City.Team Oriented

Position Description:
  • Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris and possible hazards
  • Load or unload building materials to be used in construction
  • Build or take apart bracing, barricades, forms (molds that determine the shape of concrete), scaffolding, and temporary structure
  • Operate or tend equipment and machines used in construction, such as forklifts
  • Help other craftworkers with their duties
  • Follow construction plans and instructions from the people they are working for
  • Follow blueprints and building plans to meet the needs of clients
  • Install structures and fixtures, such as windows and molding
  • Measure, cut, or shape wood, plastic, fiberglass, drywall, and other materials
  • General layout knowledge of wall studs, floor joists, and doorframes
  • Ability to frame roofs and stairs
  • Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures
  • Demo existing structures to allow for the erection of new structures
  • Instruct and direct laborers and other construction trade helpers

Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Some Construction Experience and Knowledge is Helpful , but for the Foreman and Lead Positions Experience and Knowledge are Required
  • Minimum of High School Diploma or Equivalent Certificate
  • Physically able to do the work
  • U.S. citizen or proof of legal residency

Serenity Construction – Superintendent Position

Position Description:
  • Quality control of your project.
  • Maintaining proper safety guidelines.
  • Management of time cards and management of Serenity employees on your projects.
  • Management, scheduling, quality control of sub-contractors.
  • Creating and maintaining a 3 week rolling task schedule.
  • Expense Reporting for projects – understanding where expenses and tasks fit in the budget so that you can easily code employee hours and expenses that occur.
  • Coordinating with Project Manager on billing, invoice coding, and project RFI’s.
  • Maintaining Daily Logs – recording daily progress and events that affect the projects, take progress pictures and record any issues that may occur.
  • Estimating and take offs on your projects.
  • Communication with Serenity employees, the project manager, and subcontractors.

Position Description
  • Answering the phone

  • Running Errands for Executives – must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle

  • Knowledge of Quickbooks is preferred but not required

  • Concierge Services for Executives

Serenity Project Managers

Pay/Benefits:

Hourly rate based upon experience and knowledge with review at 90 days to increase hourly rate and a second review at 365 days to become a salaried employee (if Full Time). Wage is dependent upon experience and background but ranges from $16 -$20/hr.

Cell Phone: $50/month Cell Phone Reimbursement (Must Submit a Personal Invoice)

Milage Reimbursement for Errands (Must Submit a Personal Invoice) $.58/mile

Observed Holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day

After 90 days – (Full Time Benefits Only)

80% of Health Care Premium Benefits Reimbursement
Four Paid Holidays after 90 days: Christmas, Thanksgiving, Independence Day, Labor Day or Memorial Day
Personal Days: 2 Paid

After 365 Days – (Full Time Benefits Only)

Effective after a year of employment with Serenity Inc. you will receive 1 week of vacation and an additional day vacation per year you have worked with the company going forward until you are eligible for 3 weeks based on years of service.
